I am a foreign student is it possible to enrol in a degree of this School? + -

1. Access for students with pre-university studies

  • A. Students in possession of the European Baccalaureate title under the provisions contained in the Convention establishing the Statute of the European Schools, made in Luxembourg on 21 June 1994; Students who had obtained the International Baccalaureate Diploma, issued by the International Baccalaureate Organization, based in Geneva (Switzerland), and students in possession of degrees, diplomas or high school or bachelor’s degree from of educational systems of Member States of the European Union or of other States with which international agreements are applicable in this respect, on a reciprocal basis, provided that such students fulfil the required academic requirements in their educational systems to access their universities. The access note of these students is that contained in the current credential issued by the UNED or competent body equivalent.They may improve this not with the qualifications obtained in subjects evaluated by any of these tests:
    – The specific competency tests carried out by the UNED or competent body.
    – The external final evaluation made for obtaining the degree or diploma that gives access to the university in its educational system of origin, according to the note of this subject included in the credential issued by the UNED or equivalent competent body.
    – The voluntary phase of the EvAU.
  • B. Students in possession of titles, diplomas or studies equivalent to the Bachelor’s degree in the Spanish educational system, coming from educational systems of Member States of the European Union or those of other States with which agreements have been signed International applicable in this respect, on a reciprocal basis, when such students do not meet the academic requirements required in their educational systems to access their universities; and students in possession of titles, diplomas or studies, obtained or carried out in educational systems of States that are not members of the European Union with which no international agreements have been signed for the recognition of The Bachelor’s degree in regime of reciprocity, homologated or declared equivalent to the Bachelor’s degree in the Spanish education system.
    The access note of these students is the qualification corresponding to the average baccalaureate note that appears in the current credential issued by the UNED or competent body, or in the corresponding accreditation credential of its title. They will be able to improve this qualification by presenting themselves to the EvAU (compulsory and voluntary phase) in conditions similar to those of the LOMCE Baccalaureate students. They will also be able to carry out the tests of specific competencies in the UNED of the following subjects:
    – The main subjects general subjects: History of Spain, Spanish language and literature and language (choosing between English or French languages).
    – Core subject of modality: Choosing between mathematics, Mathematics applied to the social sciences, Latin or fundamentals of art.
    – A maximum of two option core subjects, according to the chosen modality core subject.
    The admission note will not be the one listed in the UNED accreditation.
  • C. Students in possession of certificates, diplomas or foreign studies homologated or declared equivalent to the official qualifications of the higher technical vocational training, superior technician of plastic arts and design or of the superior sports technician of the Spanish education system.

    The access note of these students is that contained in the current credential issued by the UNED or competent body, or in the corresponding accreditation credential of their title. They may improve this qualification from the qualifications obtained in subjects evaluated in any of these tests:
    – the specific competency tests carried out by the UNED or competent body.
    – The external final evaluation made for obtaining the degree or diploma that gives access to the university in its educational system of origin, according to the note of this material included in the credential issued by the UNED or equivalent competent body.
    – The voluntary phase of the EvAU, without prejudice to the provisions of the single transitional provision.

  • D. Students in possession of degrees, diplomas or studies other than those equivalent to bachelor’s degrees, higher technical vocational training, superior technician of plastic arts and design or superior sports technician of the Spanish education system, obtained or carried out in a Member State of the European Union or in other States with which international agreements apply in this respect, on a reciprocal basis, when those students fulfil the academic requirements demanded in that state to access their universities.

    The access note of these students is that contained in the current credential issued by the UNED or competent body.

2. Access for students with university studies

  • A. Students with partial foreign university studies, or who have completed the university studies have not requested or obtained the homologation and wish to continue studies in Spain. The recognition of 30 credits will be required in the degree to which it is to be accessed.

    These students will participate in the admission procedure by change of studies or university. They will also be able to use their pre-university studies in the General procedure.

  • B. Students in possession of a foreign university degree homologated in the official university degree, masters or equivalent degree, or the diploma, Technical Architect, technical engineer, bachelor, architect, engineer, corresponding to the Previous ordination of university teaching or equivalent title.These students will participate in the General procedure to initiate degree studies within the quota of graduates, and in the general quota if they present their pre-university studies.

Incoming mobility for International students
All foreign students interested in making a stay of international mobility at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) must complete the formalities prior to their admission following the Admission procedure for International students

To be admitted to the University of Castilla-La Mancha as an international student you must first contact your home university to send us an official nomination to the campus with which you have an agreement. Once nominated, from the corresponding ORI we will contact you.

If your university has no agreement with us or has not selected you for an international program to come to the UCLM, and you want to come as a visiting student, you must pay the corresponding academic fees. Please write to the Office of International Relations at the Albacete campus (ori.ab@uclm.es) that you are interested to come and we will inform you of the procedure to follow.

Deadlines:
Until 15 June for academic stays during the first semester (Sept-January) or full course.
Until November 30th for academic stays during the second semester (February-June).

Los alumnos que quieran retomar sus estudios y que no hubieran trasladado su expediente, no necesitan realizar preinscripción para continuar los estudios. Deben solicitarlo a la UGAC donde se les asignará día y hora para hacer la matrícula.

Sólo si quedan plazas vacantes, deberás consultar las fechas de pre-inscripción online y, si eres aceptado/a entonces realizar la matrícula en octubre (consulta las fechas con la UGAC).
